Named for its beautiful color markings that resemble the spots on a panda, the Panda Dwarf Cichlid is another beautiful fish that originates in South America. The Panda Dwarf Cichlid is relatively small and grows only to 3 inches in length. For best results you should keep the Panda Dwarf Cichlid in a larger sized aquarium of at least 30 gallons for plenty of room for swimming. You should also make sure to provide a lot of cover in the aquarium in the form of rocks, plants, and driftwood as with most Cichlids, the Panda Dwarf likes to hide and stake out its own territory. The Panda Dwarf Cichlid is a carnivore and should be fed a diet of freeze dried bloodworms, flake food, frozen food, and live brine shrimp.
