Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is a good idea to keep carbon on hand in case of emergencies. Carbon can be used to soak up anything harmful that may be introduced into your aquarium. So keeping an emergency stock can be a life saver.

2. Make sure to keep a log on hand to update any changes in the aquarium. This will help you keep track of changes in your aquarium much more easily. Keep your aquarium log in a place where you wonít forget it.

3. Angelfish are normally very peaceful fish, in times of breeding they can get aggressive. It is a good idea to only keep one pair of mating angelfish in the same aquarium, as more of them can lead to infighting.

Otocinclus Catfish

$0.00

The Otocinclus Catfish is a great fish to add to your aquarium, it is a peaceful fish and lives best in planted aquariums where there are many places for the Otocinclus Catfish to hide and seek refuge. The Otocinclus catfish also likes to hang off of the sides of the tank sucking up algae and generally just relaxing on the sides of the aquarium. The Otocinclus Catfish is primarily an herbivore so you should feed them with algae wafers if you do not think there is sufficient algae in your aquarium to properly feed them. As long as you have enough spots for these Catfish to hide or enough algae to feed them, you can keep these little guys happy and healthy and a great part of your aquarium.
