Ornate Sand Conchs are originally from the waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean and also the Eastern Pacific. Sand Conch Snails are peaceful members of the aquarium, and can be kept with any other species that will not harm it. Ornate Sand Conchs are herbivores and should be fed a steady diet of algae, diatoms, cyanobacteria, and detritus. These snails grow to around 2 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons in size.
