1. When adding plants to the aquarium, be sure to check the lighting needs.† Try to find plants that will fit the pre-existing lighting conditions of your aquarium.† You should avoid plants that require much more light than the fish in your aquarium.


2. Clownfish are all born as males, but when the age and get older they have the amazing ability to switch sexes .

Oriental Sweetlips

Oriental Sweetlips fish are originally from the region of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Oriental Sweetlips fish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet including plenty of meaty foods such as feeder fish and crustaceans. Oriental Sweetlips fish grow to around 34 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 180 gallons in size. Oriental Sweetlips are aggressive and should only be kept with other fish of around the same size and temperament.

Origin: Indo-Pacific
Size: Can grow up to 32 inches at full maturity
Feeding: Carnivore, should be fed plenty of meaty preparations.
Aquarium: Saltwater, should not be kept in the reef aquarium.
Minimum Tank Size: 180 Gallons
Behavior: Aggressive
Care: Advanced
Compatibility: Should be kept alone or with other fish that can defend themselves.
