Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should never used any alcohol to clean the inside of your aquarium. Alcohol can pose health problems for the fish in your aquarium.


2. Always use a new or clean bucket when going through the acclimation or water changing process. A bucket that has been used to hold bleach or other chemicals can be very harmful for the fish in your aquarium.


3. You should be sure to rinse out all of the materials you are going to be placing in the aquarium with water. Do not use soap or detergents, soap can cause toxic results for the fish in your aquarium. Just rinse the equipment with distilled water.

Orange Starfish are originally from the waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Orange Starfish are peaceful members of the aquarium, and should only be kept with other peaceful members of the aquarium. Do not keep this Orange Starfish with more aggressive members of the aquarium, as they may attack and harm it. Orange Starfish grow to around 3 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons in size. These starfish are Omnivores and should be fed a steady diet of plenty of carnivore and herbivore preparations.
