From the rocky costal waters of the southern part of Lake Tanganyika in Africa. The Orange Leleupi Cichlid is another one of the smaller Cichlids, reaching a maximum size of only around 4 inches. They have an elongated body and are mostly orange in their coloring. They do have a large mouth that can be outlined in black or blue depending on the individual. You should keep the Orange Leleupi in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size and like most other cichlids, you should keep plenty of rocks and other ornaments in your aquarium to provide for adequate hiding spots. They are carnivores so they should be fed a good diet of bloodworms, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp.
