Mosaic Cowrie Snails are originally from the waters of the Central Pacific. Mosaic Cowrie Snails grow to a size of around 2 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide them with plenty of swimming and living room. Mosaic Cowrie Snails are herbivores and will feed on algae, diatoms, and cyanobacteria. Mosaic Cowrie Snails are peaceful members of the aquarium, and should not be kept with more aggressive species that can possibly harm them. Mosaic Cowrie Snails are easy to care for and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem. These snails are very hardy, and can be kept in a reef aquarium with no problem.
