Mitratus Butterflyfish are originally from the waters of the Indian Ocean. Mitratus Butterflyfish grow to around 6 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 55 gallons in size to provide plenty of living and swimming room for these fish. Mitratus Butterflyfish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet consisting of plenty of meat preparations for best possibly health. Mitratus Butterflyfish are peaceful but can be a bit much to care for, we only recommend that the experienced aquarium owners care for these fish.
