Metallic Squirrelfish are from the Indian Ocean around the Maldives and Sri Lanka. Metallic Squirrelfish grow to around 7 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 60 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these fish. Metallic Squirrelfish are carnivores and should be fed plenty of feeder shrimp and other meaty preparations. Metallic Squirrelfish are easy to care for and can be kept by the starting aquarium owner with little problems.
