Aquarium Related Tips

1. Keep plenty of testing kits on hand, if you own a saltwater aquarium you should mainly focus on nitrates, PH, salinity, and phosphate levels. Never be caught off guard, make sure you have plenty of kits available to test the levels.

2. You should take out any carbon filters in the aquarium when you are medicating your fish. The carbon in the filter will remove the medicine from the water, so it is best to remove it all together.

3. When adding particularly aggressive fish to your aquarium, it is a good idea to move around the rocks and such in the aquarium before placing the new fish into the aquarium. Moving the rocks in the aquarium will allow the fish to go back and stake out their own territory.

Marine Buffer 500gr

$14.95

The PH Levels in your aquarium are one of the most important things to focus on when starting your new system. PH Levels in marine aquariums are best kept around 8.3. When starting your marine aquarium use Liquid Marine Buffer to raise the PH level in your aquarium up to 8,3 to safely start our your new aquarium system. Marine Buffer is a blended chemical solution that will safely raise the PH level in your aquarium while not just adding sodium carbonate or bicarbonate. To use simply follow the directions that are included with this product and get your system up and going in no time.
