Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is generally recommended to use natural gravel for the aquarium. Colored gravel can be used, as long as it is professionally made, certain cheaply made color gravels can be toxic to fish in your aquarium.

2. In larger aquariums, you should put a few scavenger fish in the tank. Scavenger fish will help to clean up left behind food and wastes from the other fish in the aquarium. This is a good eco friendly way to keep your aquarium clean.

3. You must always treat the water in the aquarium before attempting to place fish. If you fail to treat the water the fish can die from the condition of the water.
