Lyretail Hogfish are from the regions of Africa, Fiji, and Sri Lanka. Lyretail Hogfish have white, gold, red, and black markings alongside their bodies. Lyretail Hogfish are carnivores and feed off of snails, worms, mussels, and small fish. They even have the ability to blow water over the sand to uncover bits of food at the bottom of the aquarium. Lyretail Hogfish grow to 8 inches at full maturity and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 70 gallons.
