Aquarium Related Tips

1. Some people go by the ìinch of fish, gallon of waterî rule when deciding on how large of an aquarium to buy.† This is a completely false and bad method to go by, you should always check your individual fishís tank requirements.

2. If you use your tap water, you should make sure to remove the chlorine from the water before you add it to the aquarium.† Chlorine can be very harmful to some of the fish in your aquarium.† You can purchase kits to remove the chlorine from your aquarium at many retailers online.

3. Clownfish do not always need to be with a sea anemone.† Clownfish use anemoneís in the wild and they are not completely necessary in the home aquarium.† If you insist on owning an anemone, you need to have plenty of experience to take care of it as they can be difficult to manage.

Loricaria Cat

$0.00

The Loricaria Catfish is from South America in the Andes Region, they generally live in streams and rivers with rocky and sandy bottoms. The Loricaria Catfish are a great addition to the aquarium and are generally very peaceful. You should keep the Loricaria Catfish with more members of its kind so it does not feel threatened by other inhabitants of the tank. You should feed the Loricaria Catfish flake food and algae wafers to maintain a steady diet of nutrients for the fish. It should be kept in a medium sized aquarium so that the Loricaria has plenty of room to swim around in, you should also keep a lot of plants to mimic its natural habitat.
