Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is not a good idea to wash your filter media with regular tap water. The tap water can kill the beneficial bacteria that is built up in the filter. Use distilled water to clean out your filter and its components.

2. You should never used any alcohol to clean the inside of your aquarium. Alcohol can pose health problems for the fish in your aquarium.

3. Goldfish require a PH level of around 7.5 to live comfortably. Use PH testing strips to ensure that the levels in your aquarium are just right.

Long Tentacle Anemone

$20.95

Long tentacle Anemone’s usually have a red or orange colored base, and their tentacles vary in color from green to brown or striped with white. When you introduce the Long tentacle anemone to your tank, it will move around to find the best possible location, this will normally occur anytime that there is a change to the anemone’s environment. Long tentacle Anemone will generally need large spaces to stretch out their tentacles and should be kept in a larger aquarium that will allow them to fully spread out. Once the anemone finds its own particular spot, make sure to move any coral out of the way as the anemone may sting the coral to defends its territory.
