Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should keep plenty of water testing kits for your aquarium. Testing kits can measure the levels of harmful and beneficial chemicals in the aquarium. You will need these testing kits for the frequent water changes for your aquarium.

2. It is generally recommended to use natural gravel for the aquarium. Colored gravel can be used, as long as it is professionally made, certain cheaply made color gravels can be toxic to fish in your aquarium.

3. Always use a new or clean bucket when going through the acclimation or water changing process. A bucket that has been used to hold bleach or other chemicals can be very harmful for the fish in your aquarium.
