Aquarium Related Tips

1. If you have a protein skimmer you should shut it off when you are adding medicine to your aquarium. The protein skimmer will remove any medicines added to the aquarium.

2. It is important to pay attention to the limitations of the fish you place in the aquarium. Do not place fish into aquariums smaller than there recommended range, this can lead to increased aggression and decreased health.

3. It is generally a good practice to purchase the largest aquarium that you can actually afford. A larger aquarium will be less susceptible to quick changes in the chemistry, and will offer much more stability.

Knob Coral (Pacific)

$0.00

Knob Coral is originally from the waters of the South Pacific around the islands of Indonesia and Fiji. Knob Coral is an aggressive species and should only be kept next to other aggressive species to keep its spread in check. Do not place this coral with peaceful coral as it will overtake and harm them. Knob Coral is difficult to care for and should only be kept by the experienced aquarium owner. Knob Coral should be supplemented with plenty of calcium, strontium, and other trace elements. Place the Knob Coral in a spot in the aquarium where it can receive high lighting along with medium to strong waterflow. This coral makes for a great addition to the aquarium,

Lighting: High
Waterflow: Medium-Strong
Placement: Anywhere
