Janss’s Pipefish come from the waters of the Western Pacific around Japan and the Philippines. Jann’s Pipefish grow to around 8 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to accommodate this fish. Janss’s Pipefish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet of grass shrimp, brine shrimp, baby guppies, mosquito larva and daphnia. Janss’s Pipefish are very hard to care for, and should only be kept by the expert aquarium owner.
