Hexazona Barbs are originally from the freshwater bodies around Malaysia and Singapore. Hexazona barbs grow to around 2 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for them. Hexazona Barbs are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet with plenty of herbivore and carnivore preparations. These barbs are peaceful members of the aquarium and should not be kept with other more aggressive species that may attack and harm them. Hexazona Barbs are easy to care for and can be kept even by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem.
