Half Moon Damselfish are originally from the Red Sea and the surrounding bodies of water. Half Moon Damselfish grow to around 2 ¬? inches in size and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide them with plenty of swimming and living room. Half Moon Damselfish are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet of meaty foods along with other herbivore preparations. These fish are semi aggressive and should be kept in an aquarium with other fish of the same temperament. Because of their ease of care, we recommend these fish for the beginning aquarium owner.
