Aquarium Related Tips

1. When you purchase your aquarium and the equipment for your setup, do not purchase the fish at the same time. You are going to need plenty of time to cycle the water in the aquarium to make it hospitable for the fish in your aquarium.

2. Catfish sometimes require freshwater as juveniles and then as they get old they will need a more brackish environment. Make sure you read up on your catfish to learn what its needs will be when it gets older.

3. Pay close attention to your fish's PH needs and augment your aquarium as necessary to accommodate the new fish you are adding to your aquarium.

Green Tiger Barb

$9.85

The Green tiger Barb is a very lively and fun fish to watch swim around your aquarium. The Green tiger Barb, also called the Moss Banded Barb, or Moss Barb is a very notable color morph from the original tiger Barb. These fish are very beautiful and have a very deep fluorescent green to green blue body. The Green tiger Barb needs a lot of space in an aquarium as it is a very active fish and loves to swim around in open spaces. For best keeping, you should house the Green Tiger Barb along with around 6 of its fellow Barbs as these fish are heavy into schooling. These are a great fish to keep as a beginning aquarium enthusiast as they are very hardy.
