1. It is not recommended to keep your aquarium where it receives direct sunlight.† Exposure to direct sunlight can upset the balance of the aquarium and can raise aquarium temperature levels.† It is best to keep your aquarium in a place where you can control the lighting.
2. You should keep some brushes on hand, especially if you are a reef aquarium owner.† With your brushes you will be able to clean off any built up grime from inside your aquarium or on the surfaces of your hard corals.
3. Always use a new or clean bucket when going through the acclimation or water changing process.† A bucket that has been used to hold bleach or other chemicals can be very harmful for the fish in your aquarium.
