Aquarium Related Tips

1. It is a good idea to keep carbon on hand in case of emergencies. Carbon can be used to soak up anything harmful that may be introduced into your aquarium. So keeping an emergency stock can be a life saver.

2. You should always stay up to date on the new and exciting practices for fish keeping. Subscribe to several news letters to keep up to date. If you like to read, go to your local library and get some books on fish keeping.

3. It is not recommended to keep your aquarium where it receives direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight can upset the balance of the aquarium and can raise aquarium temperature levels. It is best to keep your aquarium in a place where you can control the lighting.

Giant Cup Mushroom

$45.95

Giant Cup Mushroom Coral is originally from the waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Giant Cup Coral Mushrooms are a semi-aggressive coral, and should be kept in the aquarium with other aggressive species. Make sure that you do not place this coral near other more peaceful species, as it will encroach on them and possibly harm them. Place your Giant Cup Mushroom in a spot in the aquarium where it can receive moderate lighting along with low to medium waterflow. Because of its requirements, it is recommended you place this coral in the middle range of the aquarium. Giant Cup Mushroom Coral is pretty easy to care for, and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem.

Lighting: Moderate
Waterflow: Low to Medium
Placement: Middle Range
Origin: Indo-Pacific
