Aquarium Related Tips

1. When breeding angelfish, it is normal for the first spawn to suffer heavy losses and not make it all the way to the hatching phase. You should have the proper equipment before you start to breed angelfish.

2. When adding new species to your aquarium, you have to ease them in. Adding too many fish too quickly can cause the ammonia and chemical levels to raise quickly. Adding fish slowly gives your filter time to catch up.

3. Clownfish do not always need to be with a sea anemone. Clownfish use anemoneís in the wild and they are not completely necessary in the home aquarium. If you insist on owning an anemone, you need to have plenty of experience to take care of it as they can be difficult to manage.

Giant Danio

$0.00

Giant Danios are originally from the waters of the Indian Ocean, around the coasts of India and Sri Lanka. Giant Danios grow to around 4 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room. Giant Danios are peaceful members of the aquarium and should not be kept with more aggressive fish that will bully it. Keep this fish with other peaceful fish to avoid conflicts. Giant Danios are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet with plenty of meaty preparations and herbivore mixes.
