Aquarium Related Tips

1. Discus fish are very hard to care for, they have very specific care instructions. These fish are hard to care for but are very beautiful. However we recommend that these fish only be kept only by the advanced aquarium owner.

2. It is a good idea to clean your aquarium with a soft wash cloth and warm water. The soft cloth will not leave scratches on the inside of your aquarium and will remove any unsightly stains.

3. When you purchase your aquarium and the equipment for your setup, do not purchase the fish at the same time. You are going to need plenty of time to cycle the water in the aquarium to make it hospitable for the fish in your aquarium.

Gardneri Killifish

$26.99

Gardneri Killifish are a captive bred variety of their parent Killifish that is found in the watering holes and streams of Africa. Gardneri Killifish are peaceful and should be kept in an aquarium with plenty of other peaceful temperament fish. The Gardneri Killifish needs to live in an aquarium of at least 20 gallons to provide for plenty of room to swim around in. Gardneri Killifish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet of brine shrimp, white worms, dry flake and frozen foods, and also they will accept most live foods offered to them. These fish have truly beautiful markings and should make a wonderful addition to your aquarium.
