Aquarium Related Tips

1. When starting out a new aquarium, it is best to add hardier species at first. Once your aquarium ages a bit and gets settled, you can start to add more sensitive fish to the aquarium.

2. You should always take the time to acclimate your fish to the aquarium. Acclimating your fish will get them used to the environment of the aquarium. Adding fish directly can be too much a shock for your fish and can pose health hazards.

3. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand. If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.

Galaxea Green Coral

$24.95

Galaxea green coral is a very popular coral for the fact that it is both very sturdy and is very pleasing to the eye with its impressive color display. You should always use caution when placing this coral in your aquarium, as this coral species has sweeper tentacles that stretch up to 5 inches from the body and can sting other corals in your aquarium if it infringes on the Galaxea Corals space. For best conditions place this coral in a tank with low to moderate water flow to provide for sufficient feeding of this species. You should feed this species invertebrate food such as Marine Snow twice weekly for best results. This coral needs moderate sunlight.
