Aquarium Related Tips

1. Having a quarantine tank on hand is a very good practice to use if you frequently buy new fish. The quarantine tank will weed out any sick fish that could possible get into your aquarium and cause harm to the other inhabitants.

2. You need to have some healthy natural bacteria to process the wastes and chemicals in your aquarium. This will take around 4 weeks to grow naturally, but you can purchase products to speed up the process.

3. When breeding angelfish, it is normal for the first spawn to suffer heavy losses and not make it all the way to the hatching phase. You should have the proper equipment before you start to breed angelfish.

Frogspawn Coral Branch

$29.95

Frogspawn coral get their name from the fact that they have multi tipped tentacles. This gives their tentacles the appearance of being a whole litter of frogs eggs right before hatching. This species of coral is quite aggressive, its tentacles can extend several inches and they pack a powerful sting. For best results you should make sure that the frogspawn coral has enough room to move around without coming into contact with nearby neighbors. Frogspawn coral should be kept in medium to high light with moderate water flow for absolute best results. Invertebrate food should be fed to these corals around twice weekly to maintain the best possible health.
