1. You should keep the temperature in your aquarium constant.† Constant change in the aquarium can be dangerous† for the fish in your aquarium.† Keep a quality heater and accurate thermometer to ensure that the water stays stable for the aquarium.
2. You should feed your fish a variety of food and not just flake foods.† Mix it up with fresher foods from their regular diet.† Giving them more a varied diet will increase the general health of your fish.
3. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand.† If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.
