Aquarium Related Tips

1. You should always research the different types of fish you are going to be housing together. Certain fish can be extremely aggressive and cannot be paired with other fish of different temperaments.

2. When adding new species to your aquarium, you have to ease them in. Adding too many fish too quickly can cause the ammonia and chemical levels to raise quickly. Adding fish slowly gives your filter time to catch up.

3. In larger aquariums, you should put a few scavenger fish in the tank. Scavenger fish will help to clean up left behind food and wastes from the other fish in the aquarium. This is a good eco friendly way to keep your aquarium clean.
