1. Always use a new or clean bucket when going through the acclimation or water changing process.† A bucket that has been used to hold bleach or other chemicals can be very harmful for the fish in your aquarium.
2. When starting out a new aquarium, it is best to add hardier species at first.† Once your aquarium ages a bit and gets settled, you can start to add more sensitive fish to the aquarium.
3. It is a good idea to clean your aquarium with a soft wash cloth and warm water.† The soft cloth will not leave scratches on the inside of your aquarium and will remove any unsightly stains.
