Light: High
Adaptation: Needs lots of hiding places and plenty of room to swim. Tends to be shy and basically difficult to keep in an aquarium. Some of these dish will acclimate well while others may not. Providing live rock with algae on it and live foods such as encrusted invertebrates.
Compatibility: Needs peaceful tank-mates. A reef system is not a good idea nor are stony corals. Do well with other butterflyfish, except its own kind.
