Flame Cardinalfish are from the warm sunny waters of the Caribbean and around Costa Rica. Flame Cardinalfish grow to a size of around 4 inches and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons in size to provide ample room for this fish. Flame Cardinalfish are carnivores and should be fed a steady diet of feeder shrimp, bloodworms, feeder fish, and other meaty preparations. Flame Cardinalfish are aggressive and should be kept with other fish that can hold their ground. These fish are easy to care for and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner.
