Red Flame Boxfish

Flame Boxfish come from the waters of the Indo-Pacific Ocean and more specifically off of the coast of Southern Australia. Flame Boxfish grow to around 4 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 100 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these fish. Flame Boxfish are omnivores and should be fed a steady diet of meaty and vegetable preparations for best health. Flame Boxfish are non-aggressive and should be kept in an aquarium with other peaceful Flame Boxfish. Flame Boxfish are hard to care for and should only be kept by the experienced aquarium owner.

Origin: Southern Australia
Size: Can grow to 4 inches across
Feeding: Omnivore
Aquarium: Saltwater, can be kept in a reef aquarium. Should also be kept with plenty of Live Rock.
Minimum Tank Size: 100 Gallons
Behavior: Peaceful
Care: Moderate-Difficult
Compatibility: Can be kept with other peaceful fish in a community aquarium.
