Aquarium Related Tips

1. Provide plenty of places for your aquarium animals to hide. Studies have actually shown that the more places a fish has to hide, the less likely they are to do so! Hiding spots also provide safe spots of refuge for smaller fish in the aquarium

2. Clownfish do not always need to be with a sea anemone. Clownfish use anemoneís in the wild and they are not completely necessary in the home aquarium. If you insist on owning an anemone, you need to have plenty of experience to take care of it as they can be difficult to manage.

3. Make sure to keep a log on hand to update any changes in the aquarium. This will help you keep track of changes in your aquarium much more easily. Keep your aquarium log in a place where you wonít forget it.

Finnex Glass Heater 300 Watt

$22.90

OUT OF STOCK, Please check back later.
The Finnex Glass Heater (25 watt to 300 watt), is made of thermal resistant glass, is compact and easy to hide, has a safety shut off valve, a heat indicator and is energy efficient. This heater keeps the water temperature within 2 degrees F of the set value, reducing the risk of Marine Ich, while providing a healthy and safe tank environment. The safety shut-off valve will cut off the power automatically if it senses air. For example, if the heater is accidentally removed from the water. This is accomplished through a built-in temperature sensor. The heater is an extremely important component of your system. Tank temperatures fluctuate, rising during the day and falling at night. A great heater will maintain the water temperature at the set value.
