Elkhorn Coral grows rapidly and aggressively and should not be kept near more peaceful species that it will take over and dominate. Keep Elkhorn Coral next to other more aggressive species that will keep its growth in check. Elkhorn Coral should be placed in the aquarium where it can receive moderate lighting along with medium-strong water flow. You can place this coral anywhere in the aquarium where both its lighting and water flow requirements are met. Elkhorn Coral can be a bit difficult to care for, and should only be kept by the experienced aquarium owner.
