Aquarium Related Tips

1. Goldfish require a PH level of around 7.5 to live comfortably. Use PH testing strips to ensure that the levels in your aquarium are just right.

2. You must always treat the water in the aquarium before attempting to place fish. If you fail to treat the water the fish can die from the condition of the water.

3. You need to have some healthy natural bacteria to process the wastes and chemicals in your aquarium. This will take around 4 weeks to grow naturally, but you can purchase products to speed up the process.

Elephant Nose

$29.70

Elephant Nose Fish are named as such for their unique body structure, they have a long protrusion on their face that gives them appearance of having an elephant trunk. Elephant nose fish should be kept in a tank with slow moving water, with plenty of plants and wood structures to provide ample places for them to hide. Elephant fish should be kept in a larger sized aquarium as they grow to around 9 inches in length. Elephant nose Fish is a peaceful community fish and can be kept in aquariums with other peaceful species, it should not however be kept in an aquarium with more of its kind as it an get territorial. You should feed this fish mostly meaty foods with the occasional addition of flake and pellet foods.
