Aquarium Related Tips

1. If you use your tap water, you should make sure to remove the chlorine from the water before you add it to the aquarium.† Chlorine can be very harmful to some of the fish in your aquarium.† You can purchase kits to remove the chlorine from your aquarium at many retailers online.

2. It is not advisable to leave your aquarium lights on at all times for the aquarium.† You should keep the lights on for 8-12 hour periods at a time.† If you want to keep the tank lights on when you arrive home, simply get a timer for the lights so your fish stay on a schedule.

3. After establishing your aquarium, pick fish that will add well to the current water conditions in your aquarium.† Also be sure to check their temperament and other needs to be sure that they will make the transition in your aquarium smoothly.

Dussumier Tang; Hawaii

$120.75

Dussumieri Tangs are originally from the waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Dussumieri Tangs grow to around 8 inches at full length and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 55 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for them. Dussumeri Tangs are herbivores and should be fed a steady diet of plenty of vegetable and herbivore preparations for best health.
