Aquarium Related Tips

1. When keeping aggressive species of fish, it is best not to introduce peaceful species of fish among them. Aggressive fish will tend to bully the more peaceful fish. Make sure to thoroughly read about the compatibility of the selected fish for the aquarium.

2. You should keep some brushes on hand, especially if you are a reef aquarium owner. With your brushes you will be able to clean off any built up grime from inside your aquarium or on the surfaces of your hard corals.

3. Only use medication in your aquarium when you are out of other options. You should use a separate tank to medicate sick fish as some medications can have harmful effects on healthy fish.

Duboisi Cichlid

$27.09

Duboisi Cichlid is from the waters of lake Tanganyika in Africa. The Duboisi Cichlid grows to a maximum size of around 5 inches and is a great addition to your aquarium. They should be kept however, in a large aquarium in groups as this fish likes to be with others of its own kind. You should provide rocks and cover for this fish to hide in and claim as their own territory. This species is striking blue in color and is absolutely beautiful to keep in your aquarium. For best results you should stick to feeding the Duboisi Cichlid a vegetable diet and they will accept and eat pellets.
