Double Full Red Cockatoo Cichlid

Also known as the Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid, the Full Red Cockatoo Cichlid is a beautiful fish that is from the streams and backwaters in South America. They should be kept in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons with plenty of rocks, crevices, plants and other places that would make for good hiding places for the Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid. This fish has beautiful markings along its body consisting of yellow, blue, red and silver in ornate patterns. These fish grow to a maximum size of around 3¬? inches. The Double Full Red Cockatoo Cichlid is a carnivore and will eat a large variety of food including bloodworms, flake, frozen and live brine shrimp.
