1. Do not overfeed the fish in your aquarium.† Keep your feeding times at scheduled intervals to avoid overfeeding.† If you are just starting your feeding routine, start out small and increase the amounts you put in on how much your fish eat.
2. You should keep plenty of water testing kits for your aquarium.† Testing kits can measure the levels of harmful and beneficial chemicals in the aquarium.† You will need these testing kits for the frequent water changes for your aquarium.
3. When you purchase your aquarium and the equipment for your setup, do not purchase the fish at the same time.† You are going to need plenty of time to cycle the water in the aquarium to make it hospitable for the fish in your aquarium.
