Diamond Tetras are originally from the waters of South America, more specifically Venezuela. Diamond Tetras should be kept in an aquarium that is heavily planted, and you should also make sure to keep 3 or more of them together as they are a schooling fish. Diamond Tetras should be kept in an aquarium of no less than 20 gallons in size. Diamond Tetras are peaceful omnivores and should be fed a diet of brine shrimp, daphnia, and freeze dried bloodworms.
