1. Provide plenty of places for your aquarium animals to hide. Studies have actually shown that the more places a fish has to hide, the less likely they are to do so! Hiding spots also provide safe spots of refuge for smaller fish in the aquarium

2. Cichlids tend to be very intelligent fish. You should do your best to interact with them as some species will respond positively to you arriving home. These fish are very active and if you interact with them, they can develop much better.

3. It is not considered a good idea to keep aggressive fish with fish of other temperaments. You should keep peaceful fish in an aquarium with other peaceful fish to avoid any sort of fighting between the fish. Aggressive fish should only be kept with other aggressive fish.

Derasa Colored Clam

The Derasa Colored clam also known as the Tridacna Derasa, Smooth Giant Clam, and the Southern Giant Clam. This clam is originally from the Indo-Pacific region and is also found on the great Barrier Reef. The Derasa clam is a naturally large clam and can grow up to a size of around 20 inches. The Derasa occurs in Brown, Tan, Yellow, Orange, Green, Black, White and blue colors. The Derasa Colored clam is generally harmless to the other marine aquarium invertebrates. This clam is a very rugged species and is a great addition to your tank with its beautiful displays of colors.
