The Delhezi Bicher originates from the Congo and also in western Africa. The Delhezi Bichir has a more primitive appearance that makes it a very unique additions to your aquarium. The Delhezi Bichir is an air breathing fish and must be able to reach the surface of the water in your aquarium. The Delhezi Bichir is a hard fish to care for and is also pretty aggressive, for this reason we recommend that the Delhezi Bichir is cared for by the advanced aquarium owner. The Delhezi Bichir can be housed with other species of fish, but the fish must be large enough to defend themselves. The Delhezi Bichir should be housed in an aquarium of at least fifty gallons as they grow fairly large.
