Another species of Cichlid from the waters of lake Tanganyika in Africa. This species of Cichlid is a smaller one and it only reaches around 4 inches at maximum growth potential. Their bodies are long and silver in color with dark bands running the length of their body. These fish are very aggressive towards co species and should not be kept with others of its same kind. You should hose this fish in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons with plenty of rock and caves so that the Cylindricus Cichlid can carve out its own territory. You should feed the Cylindricus Cichlid plenty of meay items, including blood worms, brine and mysis shrimp, and meat based flake and pellets.
