Aquarium Related Tips

1. Make sure that the bottom of your aquarium is fully supported by your aquarium stand. If you have any gaps in the structural integrity of your aquarium, it is much more prone to breaks and leaks.

2. Only use medication in your aquarium when you are out of other options. You should use a separate tank to medicate sick fish as some medications can have harmful effects on healthy fish.

3. Do not overfeed the fish in your aquarium. Keep your feeding times at scheduled intervals to avoid overfeeding. If you are just starting your feeding routine, start out small and increase the amounts you put in on how much your fish eat.

Pin Cushion Urchin

$9.00

Pincushion Urchins are originally from the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. Pincushion Urchins grow to around 8 inches across and should be kept in an aquarium of at least 60 gallons in size to provide plenty of swimming and living room for these urchins. Pincushion Urchins are peaceful members of the aquarium and should not be kept with other aggressive species that may attack and harm this urchin. Pincushion Urchins are safe to keep in the reef aquarium, and should pose no problem with the other species. These urchins are easy to care for, and can be kept by the beginning aquarium owner with little problem.
