The Coral banded shrimp is also known as the Braded Prawn, Banded Coral Shrimp, Barber pole Shrimp, and the Banded Boxer Shrimp. The Coral Banded shrimp is found in the tropical Indo Pacific region and also in the western Atlantic Ocean. The Coral banded Shrimp grow to a length of around four inches, the females are double the size of the male counterparts. The Coral Banded shrimp can be aggressive toward other marine life in your aquarium. These Shrimp live for around 2 to 3 years. These animals will generally be hiding hanging upside down on coral reefs, or in rock crevices or shells.
