1. Only use medication in your aquarium when you are out of other options. You should use a separate tank to medicate sick fish as some medications can have harmful effects on healthy fish.
2. Make sure you ask plenty of questions when you are buying accessories or fish for your aquarium. The salespeople are there to help you, and should be able to handle any concerns you have when buying items for your aquarium.
3. Make sure to keep a log on hand to update any changes in the aquarium. This will help you keep track of changes in your aquarium much more easily. Keep your aquarium log in a place where you won't forget it.
