Aquarium Related Tips

1. Make sure to always keep your aquarium level when placing it.† If your aquarium is uneven, the weight of the water can press against the seems and this can cause major problems in your aquarium.

2. When keeping aggressive species of fish, it is best not to introduce peaceful species of fish among them.† Aggressive fish will tend to bully the more peaceful fish.† Make sure to thoroughly read about the compatibility of the selected fish for the aquarium.

3. It is not considered a good idea to keep aggressive fish with fish of other temperaments.† You should keep peaceful fish in an aquarium with other peaceful fish to avoid any sort of fighting between the fish.† Aggressive fish should only be kept with other aggressive fish.

Comet

$0.00

The Comet Goldfish is originally from the United States, first found in the Government Fish Commission ponds in the Early 1880’s.. Comet Goldfish are normally completely orange in color, but occasionally they will have some black spots on them. Comet Goldfish grow pretty large to around 8-10 inches and should be kept in a larger aquarium of at least 45 gallons. You should also provide plenty of plant and rock cover for this fish as they enjoy swimming through and hiding under cover. These fish are vegetarians and should be fed a diet that is full of plants and vegetables, they are very peaceful and should be kept in an aquarium with koi or other goldfish.
