Aquarium Related Tips

1. Avoid placing your aquarium near a radiator or any other form of heater. The heat given off by these devices can easily upset the temperature balance in your aquarium. Raised temperature levels can kill off the fish and plants that you have in your aquarium.

2. In larger aquariums, you should put a few scavenger fish in the tank. Scavenger fish will help to clean up left behind food and wastes from the other fish in the aquarium. This is a good eco friendly way to keep your aquarium clean.

3. Make any adjustments to the placement of the decorations in your aquarium before you fill up the aquarium all the way. Not doing this can cause an overflow when you reach into the tank.

Clown Loach

$9.15

Loaches come in a variety of colors.  While the Clown Loach is a peaceful loach there can be a wide range of behavior patterns with some loaches being more aggressive.  The loaches are more commonly found in India, Thailand, China, and a few other places. They normally explore their environment looking for food mostly at the bottom of the tank.  The loaches need a smooth surface in the tank to move without hurting their tender bellies, and need a few hiding places to rest during the day.
