An automated buffer system designed to adjust alkalinity for Cichild's and other rift lake fish. It works well with all species of Cichilds, including African and American species. Cichilds require high alkalinity levels in excess of 7.8. This buffer system is designed to regulate the alkalinity and carbonate hardness (KH) of the water automatically and keep the water ideally adjusted for your rift lake fish. Does not contain contaminating nitrates, phosphates, or other harmful organic compounds.
Directions:
Dissolve one teaspoon (tsp) of Cichild buffer in a glass of water. Add one glass every day per 10-20 gallons of water in the tank until desired alkalinity has been reached. Wait 24 hours to allow stabilization of the water alkalinity before measuring the PH level. To account for minerals lost to filtration and inhabitants of the tank, use every two weeks to maintain proper levels of PH and KH.

Caution:
Do not taste, swallow, or breathe. If eye contact occurs, flush with water immediately for 15 minutes. If swallowed, drink water and contact a physician. May cause skin irritation. Keep away from children.
