Christmas Tree Coral is originally from the waters of the Indo-Pacific and also around the waters of Indonesia. Christmas Tree Coral is a peaceful species of coral and should not be kept with more aggressive species that will encroach on it and attack it. Make sure to keep this coral with other peaceful corals to avoid conflict. Christmas Tree Coral should be placed in a spot in the aquarium where it can receive low lighting along with medium to strong waterflow. Because of its waterflow and lighting requirements, you should place this coral at the bottom of the aquarium. Christmas Tree Coral is a bit difficult to care for and should only be kept by the experienced aquarium owner.
